Complementary Transfers At Select Villas (Maximum 4 Guests): Paphos International Airport

Concierge services can mean many things, but essentially Akamas Concierge Services are designed to offer as little or as much as guests require. In our experience it can be equally important to be invisible as well as visible depending on guest preferences. Importantly, this choice is solely down to the individual guests.

One element of service, which is available at selected villas (Sandy Beach Villa, Sandy Beach Villa 10, Latchi Marina Villa and Arsinoe beach Villa) is the provision of complementary transfers (maximum 4 guests) to and from Paphos International Airport to the guest accommodation. In our experience, the hassle and delays of picking up a car at the airport, followed typically by a 45 minute drive in another country and then a search for the guests' villa, is not the ideal start to a holiday! For larger parties, where a taxi will be required as well, this will be a guest cost. Please note that complementary transfers are limited to one pick-up date and one departure date per booking only. 

A Friendly Welcome From Didi

Our local host in Cyprus, Didi, will meet guests at Paphos Airport, for the villas highlighted above, and drive them to their accommodation with minimum fuss and with maximum comfort and convenience. This journey also provides guests with a useful opportunity to talk to Didi and discover more about the local region as well as, importantly, the whereabouts of local amenities such as the nearest restaurants and supermarket. For other villas, Didi will either meet guests on route to their villa or at the villa itself depending on the most appropriate guest arrangements.  

Car Hire: Competitively Priced and Convenient

Akamas Villas has set up a car hire scheme with a local, well established company in Polis, based within easy reach of the properties. We took the decision to deal with a local company to secure both competitive terms and, in the event of any problems, a company that is more able to provide an immediate response. The “Akamas Villas Car Hire Scheme” provides a range of vehicles to suit all budgets and all preferences, from a small run-around car to an off-road 4WD vehicle. A car can be pre-booked at the same time as the holiday villa is booked and guests can state their time and date for the car to be delivered to their property. It is important to bear in mind the cost saves that can be achieved by taking advantage of the complementary transfers (maximum 4 guests) to and from the airport as this is likely to save a day or two on the car hire costs. Free Car Hire at Selected Villas

For a number of our villas (highlighted on the individual villa information pages), we provide a FREE basic level hire car, such as a Yaris, which is suitable for up to 4 persons. Guests will also have the option to upgrade this car.

In-Villa Dining

In recent years it has become apparent that guests want to spend more evenings at their Villa, rather than dining out every night! Most properties provide BBQ facilities or guests can take advantage of the "Akamas In-Villa Dining" experience. A choice from three Cypriot dinner menus will be offered to guests and the food (drink optional) will be purchased, prepared, served and cleared away, representing both an excellent, and very convenient way of enjoying the local cuisine in the comfort of the superb entertainment terraces that exist at all of the holiday villas. Details of the menu choices and costs will be supplied, once interest has been expressed and a provisional date provided on the accommodation booking form.

The Helios Restaurant serves up a Mediterranean feast of handmade pasta and fresh local seafood. Daily and à la carte menus feature treats such as chargrilled local ostrich tenderloin on garlic and lemon mash with truffle oil, with equally inspiring options for vegetarian or health-conscious diners. Many different walking trails exist throughout the Akamas region and all offer truly magnificent views, it is relevant to state that some are much more challenging than others so its worth doing a little research first. It is also important to highlight the need to take precautions when walking in the high season, when proper sun protection is essential as is ample supplies of water.
