Akamas Villas Limited was formed by Martin Maynard in 2009 and launched in early 2010. The company also has a registered office in Cyprus - Akamas Villas Concierge Services (Cyprus) Limited, which has been created with the future development of its guest services and concierge offering very much in mind.

Martin has extensive business ownership experience, which includes the highly successful creation and subsequent sale of Mortgage Next Limited, a financial services company which over a period of 10 years grew to a become a highly acclaimed, market leader in its sector. Martin has over 17 years experience of travel and investment in the Akamas Region of Cyprus, which very much inspired his decision to build a business with a clear vision for market leading guest services, with its high specification luxury Villas. Although Martin is based in London, he now spends much of his time in Cyprus, leading the development of new services and establishing long term relationships with local Cypriot businesses.

Didi Shopova manages the Cyprus end of the business and is very much the focal point for all of the company's guests once they arrive in Cyprus. Didi is Bulgarian and has lived in Polis, Cyprus for the last 5 years. Didi has a comprehensive knowledge of the Akamas region and she is well positioned to provide Akamas Villas guests with all the necessary support and information they need, to ensure their holiday and their accommodation is perfect in every way.

The properties are all situated around the un-spoilt and beautiful region around Chrysochou Bay and the growth plans for the business are very much based around identifying similar quality villas sited in this area, incorporating the towns and villages of Agarka, Polis, Latchi and Neo Chorio.
